By using Game On!, you agree to these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully.
1. The Service
Game On! is a notification service that alerts you by email and/or SMS when your selected sports teams are scheduled to appear on national television broadcasts. You select your favorite teams and the networks and streaming services you have access to, and we alert you approximately 24 hours before a matching broadcast.
2. Your Account
You are responsible for:
- Maintaining the security of your password
- All activity that occurs under your account
- Ensuring your email address and phone number (if applicable) are current and accessible
- Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that:
- Violate these Terms of Service
- Are used for illegal purposes
- Attempt to circumvent payment or subscription requirements
3. Subscription and Billing
Pricing and Payment:
- A free account includes alerts for one team via email
- An All-Star account costs $9.99 per month and includes alerts for unlimited teams via email and SMS
- Subscriptions automatically renew monthly unless you cancel
- We use Stripe for secure payment processing
- You can cancel your subscription at any time—there are no long-term contracts
Refunds:
- Refunds are not provided for partial months of service
- If you believe you were charged in error, contact us at [email protected]
If your subscription ends:
- Your account will revert to the free plan
- You will continue to receive email alerts for one team
- You can resubscribe at any time to regain unlimited teams and SMS alerts
4. Alert Accuracy
Game On! relies on publicly available and manually reviewed broadcast schedule information. National television broadcast schedules are subject to change, sometimes with little notice. In addition, some games shown on national networks are shown to only part of the country, meaning the specific matchup shown may vary by location.
We do our best to provide accurate and timely alerts, but we do not guarantee that every applicable broadcast will be identified, that alerts will be delivered on time, or that a broadcast will air exactly as scheduled. Game On! should not be relied upon as your sole source of broadcast information.
5. Acceptable Use
You may NOT use Game On! to:
- Create accounts using an email address or phone number that is not your own
- Attempt to abuse, overload, or interfere with our systems or alert delivery
- Violate any local, state, national, or international laws
- Distribute malware or harmful code
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or other users' accounts
- Engage in any other conduct that is illegal, abusive, harmful, inappropriate, or violates these terms
We reserve the right to terminate accounts that violate these guidelines.
6. Our Rights
We reserve the right to:
- Modify, suspend, or discontinue any feature of the service (we will provide reasonable notice when possible and applicable)
- Change pricing for new subscribers (current subscribers maintain their rate for the duration of their subscription period)
- Refuse service to anyone for any reason
7. Disclaimer of Warranties
Game On! is provided "as is" and "as available."
- We do not guarantee the service will be error-free, uninterrupted, or secure
- We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of any alert
- We make no warranties about the reliability or suitability of the service for any particular purpose
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
- We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages
- We are not liable for any missed, delayed, or inaccurate alert, including any resulting missed broadcast or inconvenience
- Our total liability to you for any claims related to the service is limited to the amount of your most recent subscription payment, if any
- We are not responsible for any damages resulting from your use or inability to use the service
Some jurisdictions do not allow limitations on liability, so these limitations may not apply to you.
9. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Game On! and its owners and operators from any claims, damages, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from:
- Your use of the service
- Your violation of these terms
- Your violation of any rights of others
10. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, USA. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of the service will be resolved in the courts of Pennsylvania.
11. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by email or by posting a notice on our website. Your continued use of Game On! after changes become effective means you accept the updated terms.
12. Termination
You may terminate your account at any time by canceling your subscription and contacting us to request account deletion. We may suspend or terminate your account immediately if you violate these terms.
13. Severability
If any provision of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full effect.
14. Entire Agreement
These Terms of Service, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Game On! regarding your use of the service.
